Volume I · Prologue
Stories that branch.
One paragraph at a time, written by many hands. Every story grows as a tree — any branch can win, any branch survives. When the story ends, the most-voted path becomes the canonical version, and every alternate path stays readable as its own timeline.
§ I
One paragraph
Add a child node to any open leaf. You see only the parent — never the whole history. Coherence is enforced by voting, not by you.
§ II
Every path survives
A bad branch dies in an unvisited corner — the trunk stays clean. Losing paths stay readable as alternate timelines, and their writers still get credit.
§ III
Stories end
Authors mark END when the story is ready to close. Votes freeze, the canonical path locks, and the library gains another finished thread.
